NAY PYI TAW, 27 Oct- The flood victims in Seikpyu and Pauk Townships in Pakokku District yesterday accepted relief aids carried with the use of eight choppers.
Officersfromthe local battalion presented aids to the flood victims being accommodated at Basic Education Middle School in Tansu Village, and gave a hand to the tasks for doing up in the places in Tansu Village in Pauk Township due to the torrential rain.
The officers then comforted the flood victims at the relief camp in Thaphantauk Village in Seikpyu Township giving the relief aids to them.
The relief aids supplied to the flood victims were rice, soya bean, potatoes, aluminium pots, edible oils, packets of instant noodle, clothes, bottled water, mineral salt packets, enamal wares, and packets of fried rice.
Besides, social organizations are contributing to the flood victims at Laytha Taikthit, Tilawka monastery, and Mogok meditation centre in Pakokku Township.
